Instructions for use
|
To use a PU film dressing, first clean and dry the wound and surrounding skin.
Then, peel off the backing to expose the adhesive side of the film dressing.
Center the dressing over the wound, gently press it into place without stretching, ensuring it extends at least one inch beyond the wound margin.
Finally, smooth the dressing from the center outwards to create an airtight seal for optimal protection and healing.
|
|
Precautions |
Do not use on infected wounds .
Monitor the wound and dressing: for leakage; if fluid is visible under the film, the dressing may need to be changed.
Change the dressing: every seven days or when there is evidence of leakage or displacement.
For deep wounds, wound fillers or packing materials may be needed before applying the film dressing.
